The first sub-session of the Forum on people-to-people exchanges was held in Quanzhou on July 3 on the basis of Maritime Silk Road International Documentary Festival. It will explore how to promote the high-quality development of the BRI Initiative and usher in a new chapter of cultural exchanges and mutual appreciation of civilization against the backdrop of the 10th anniversary of the BRI and Global Civilization Initiative.
Bonding through cultural exchange is key to building global solidarity. To mark the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road lnitiative, and to take in view of China's recently proposed Global Civilization Initiative, participants will share their insights on how to promote high-quality economic and social development, and how to foster nuanced understanding among people from different cultures.
